Assisting clients

Stöpler helps medical facilities run their operations by providing innovative products and services, advising clients in their purchasing and usage decisions and by keeping its expertise up-to-date. Delivery reliability is, of course, a top priority. Everyone at Stöpler operates from a common understanding: to care and take responsibility for users who depend on Stöpler’s products and services.

Stöpler, since 1902

Heinrich Stöpler graduated from Utrecht University in the Netherlands as an instrument maker in 1902. Later that same year, he started his own company, making hand tools, artificial limbs, corsets and bandages and importing medical instruments and equipment. Heinrich Stöpler’s company thrived, becoming very well known and respected. The Stöpler name has been a standard of excellence in the market for medical products since the early 20th century. It is a brand associated with rigorous standards, quality and reliability.

Belgian operations

In the late 1960s, Stöpler was acquired by the conglomerate Internatio-Müller. Some twenty years later the company changed hands again, before becoming part of the Simed Health Care Group in 1996, joining other companies in the healthcare sector.
